To clarify my post, I meant it seemed a bit much to put my location on the map because I' so far away. I'm glad some local (or at least regional) folks are clicking on the map though, because this is a really cool idea.

You don't have to identify your exact location. I'm winning for most "East of Gresham" so far :)

yeah, if you're worried someone would know where you live just place it close to your location

if you live far away, that would be more interesting

my comment was as much as anything else just to bump it - encourage others

I've added myself, if only to claim the "east of Gresham" award. I'm wasn't worried about revealing my location, but was hesitant to add myself simply because my distance makes me useless for this project.

I really just meant to comment in the thread because this is a cool idea and I wanted to bump the thread a bit (like, Jerry)

I'm embarrassed I have so many posts

I should really find something more meaningful to do with my life

Ouch!!!

I thought the resolution was all limited by the file size limit in the software. And I had to resize any images.

But I am more of a documenter than a photographer.

Done. Interesting to see where all of the Portland Oregon Hikers forum members hail from! ;)
