South Sister May 29 / Mt. Adams June 4/5
The road to the Devil's Lake trailhead opened last weekend. If the weather forecast continues to look good, I'm planning on climbing the South Sister Sunday May 29th. I'm in Bend all Memorial Day wkd. So I could do Monday May 30th if needed. I'm in great hiking condition, plan on renting an ice axe and crampons and would love some company on this hike!

There's a good 2-3 feet of spotty snow at Devil's Lake as of last night. Of course, doable, but plan on walking on (and off, and on, and off) snow all 11 miles.
