Sun. April 10, Meet the South American mountain guides

Lately I have been hiking with alpinists/mountaineers/guides Francisco and Andira from Mérida, Venezuela, visiting here for three more months. We're hiking Devil's Peak Sunday, Cool Creek trail #794. We bowl along at 2.5-3 mph. I don't think I will take snow shoes. From U.S. 26, 19.5 miles east of Sandy, turn south on 10 Road, 3.2 miles, keeping right at junctions at .3 miles and at 1.4 miles. Past the end of the pavement, trail is on the south side of the road. We have not yet firmed the morning meet time, either at trailhead, or at Coffee Brewsters in Welches.

Steve - Have a great time and enjoy the interesting company!
Some people are really fit at eighty; thankfully I still have many years to get into shape…
