I'm in! (but only if you can guarantee winds of less than 70mph, and only if it's partly sunny with high clouds cirrus, and only if the snow level is above 8,000 feet and only if the temp is between 45 & 75, and and and .....  )

I am looking forward to meeting a bunch of you that I've never been out with before.

Rigby and I are curious if the Mt Tomroy excursion is still on the docket for Saturday, Oct 3?

Thanks,

The hikes is ON for October 3! The arrangements are the same as in the very first post in this thread. I look forward to many (all? ) of you there! As said, everybody is welcome and there are shorter options available for those desiring a less demanding hike.

Greetings -

In a side conversation, Peder brought up an excellent point I did not think to consider w.r.t. Rigby the hiking dog. A bit of investigation yielded that no dogs are allowed at the Norway Pass TH:

If anyone wants to carpool I will be driving a van with room for 4 or 5 others. Bring your old cassette tapes.

I am looking forward to seeing you there Barry! I do not expect to carpool with you, but just in case I will bring all my old Abba cassettes!

Peder,

I am still planning on participating in the hike. I am planning on hiking the Green River Trail on Friday, then spending the night up there, so will see you at the TH around 9:00.
