Hiking on 11/16 or 11/17

Post by Born2BBrad » November 13th, 2013, 4:49 pm

Anyone interested in a hike this weekend, either 11/16 or 11/17?

As always, I have a couple of ideas. Nothing like the Wyeth to Defiance butt kicker of a couple of weeks ago, but something that is nevertheless a good workout.

Respond here if interested.

I definately want to do something less strenuous, especially regarding steepness. I was thinking of the Archer Mt area or the secret back way up to Hardy Ridge and Hamilton Mt that doesn't require a Discovery Pass.

Right now Sunday is looking to be the better weather day, but Saturday is still an option.

I'm in!!! Keep me posted on details! Looking forward to it. However, this is forcing me to buy those new trekking poles since I broke mine on the Wahtum/EC hike! Which means a trip to REI...which means I need to take out another mortgage cuz I already know I'm walking out with more than just poles! LOL! I'll thank you now Brad.

Looks like that I've got some takers for Sunday. I'll wait until Saturday to take the organizing to PMs to share contact info.

Right now it looks like a meetup around 7 AM (possibly at the Gateway Transit Center) to be at the TH by 8 AM. The route would be a Hardy/Hamilton loop similar to what is described in these two TRs:

Hike on,

Brad

I would love to go but am uncertain about weekend obligations. I will await details. Thanks for the response and have a great time regardless.
