Oh, duh, I just went back over the thread and realized you had said that you would. Sorry, missed that post. OK, we'll see you there. Give us an extra 30 minutes if conditions require us to chain up past Rhododendron. I'm crossing my fingers for a brief, freak blizzard.

Anna
LOL, I do that a lot too. Ok, I'm going to shoot for 8:30, but might be closer to 9. Oh, and please un-cross those fingers Anna, I really don't feel like having to chain up! ;)

BTW, I'll be driving a dark blue Jeep Cherokee and I'm sure I'll be the only one there stupid enough to be wearing jeans, so I should be pretty easy to spot.

Jeans?! Well, okay, you didn't mention your masochistic streak but I'm willing to work with you. If it rains, then freezes, we'll simply pose you as you harden up and take pictures to post on the web. How would you like to be remembered? Cat-sicle? Mr. Freeze? If there's a bota of hard liquor swinging from your pack, I'll understand. (snigger)

Thanks for giving us truck color. Mine is silver, as you know. Eric will be in a "big, old, diesel with 377,000 on it" so you'll have to get close enough to strangers to peer into their cab at the odometer to find out if it's him. On Friday, I'll PM my cell phone number to everybody and it would be great to get yours and Eric's, too, to track vehicles in that blizzard. Just kidding.

Just got off the phone with a ranger at the Hood River Ranger District. He says snow is coming down to 3500' so we may actually have something fluffy to play in. If we get on the trail before Florida hits.

Ok, scratch the jeans, I finally found my snow pants. Yeew! I wasn't looking forward to that at all.
