Hi! Oregon Native here.
I grew up in Portland, but now live in Salem and looking for good easier hiking spots to take my dog.
I am not really looking for a partner right now, just looking for some easy trails to get back into hiking.
I am far from novice, but it feels like it recently. I was part of NW Oregon Search and Rescue/Multnomah County Search and Rescue, and did that for 4 years. Stopped doing that to have my kids and dealt with arthritis that went undiagnosed for far too long. Now I’m doing easy hikes to get back into what I love.
