Oregon Hikers

Hello!!
I've been using OregonHikers.org for years to find hikes, trail guides and have read many of the trail reports. Today I decided to join to be part of the hiking community. I'm also in the process of planning a backpacking trip next year with some mates and curios if anyone could recommend a planning app. My mates don't live local and we only get together a couple of times a year. I was hoping to find an app or website that we could plan the trip, maybe upload some maps or pictures and post comments.

My friends and I just use Google Drive, share docs and sheets with edit privileges. Also use Gaia to create routes to determine mileage (seems to get the mileage right, not sure of elevation gain). Don't know of any more specialized apps or sites to use.
