Hello world! - Ellie in Corvallis

Post by elliana99 » November 15th, 2019, 10:59 pm

Hello and thank you for sharing your love of hiking. I’m Ellie, I live in Corvallis and enjoy wilderness hiking and backpacking. Haven’t done nearly as much climbing as I would like to. At the moment I’m not particularly fast, 10 min mile pace for flat and obviously slower for ascents. Would love to get out to central Oregon/Cascades more! Hoping to get out to Waldo/Crescent Lakes, McKenzie Pass, Thielsen, Diamond Peak, wherever you recommend. At the moment I sadly lack a car, but hiking shall proceed as soon as the situation ameliorates. A partner or two, especially female partners, would be appreciated. Nice to meet you, and happy trails.

10 minute miles ARE pretty fast!!! I wonder if Looney legend Sean Thomas hikes that fast! :D Welcome to the site!!!
Hiking is never about the destination, it's about the adventure!!!
