Hi everyone. Glad to become a member. I grew up in the Northwest. I'm from a multi-generation Northwest family who camped, hiked, backpacked, throughout my childhood and beyond. I've now turned into a trail runner. My father worked for a television station and actually interviewed Harry Truman before St. Helens blew. I was living in Gresham at the time of the eruption attending Mt. Hood CC. That should give you a good idea of my age range. My great grandparents lived in White Salmon and were part of the unrecognized Chinook tribe. So, I'm about as Northwest as one can get. If you see an old man running with a small camera in his hand on a trail. That would be me. Lol!
