I've been visiting this excellent site for years, but only just registered. Reason? So I can thank so many of the people who've posted great trail reports and great photos. So, thank you! They've really helped me in my planning, and in just downright enjoyment. I hope to provide some payback.
A little about me: I'm a native Portlander. Dad started my bro and me backpacking when I was 11 or 12 (way back in the 70s). First two trips: Cairn Basin and Elk Cove! I completed my last section of the Oregon PCT last September, and am starting Washington.
