Hi all!
I'm actually not from Oregon, I'm from Sacramento, and I'm a newbie. I'm open to partnering up but I guess it's pointless to bring it up here since I would prefer someone I know. How I got into hiking? Well, I read about hiking in Dominica and it sounded like fun. The hiking part I mean
I'm going to read some more, then find some way to get more experience. Well, to get at least some experience. That sounds better.

Welcome here, just get out there, with or without good shoes.
Start with simple easy hikes, and gradually increase difficulty if you please..
