New to group...Oregonian since birth...first hikes were in 1970's Nikes (white with red swoosh) with family above Yellowbotton (Quartsville/Green Peter area). Silvercreek Falls and one of the many Lost Lakes with junior high "outdoor club" really hooked me. My fella of 22 years introduced me to Columbia Gorge in 80's and we've been trying to keep track of lost trails he knew of as a kid.
Really delighted to find this site...helped with recent trip planning...so much snow!
