Bringing this back up to the top... so, Zach, this is a different falls than the one you captured - it sounds like Joe passed over your drop and his is further upstream..?

Yeah, it appears that's the case. I can see how they could have done so - bypassing this falls, if they're route viered a hundred yards or so east of the stream. Then on their way back, they most likely just back-tracked their route (usually the safest bet). It is worth the short trek back down to this stream as you can see...for this falls obviously, but also for a cool twist just upstream where Gorton flows past a beautiful bit of basalt columns like the rib cage of a dinosoar.
