I'm thinking you're likely the guy who was gathering up the trail marker ribbons that I talked to at the Defiance/Starvation Ridge junction and then again at the Summit?

Yep, that's me. Not all the ribbons - just the ones that were clearly decrepit or seemed out of place.

Oh, no worries there. I didn't mean for it to sound like I was questioning it. It just seemed like an easy way to identify you from other random hikers . Good to hear you were successful working your way down then!
