Blockhouse and Little Klickitat Falls

Post by Nwcanyoning » March 26th, 2023, 7:54 pm

Oh, about 3 months ago I called Project Patch to inquire about hiking on their originate land that holds these two falls. To my surprise they had sold it! A nice fellow named Wayne had recently bought it and they gave me his number. I called and he was more than happy to sallow me to come out to see two falls I. The Klickitat that I have been dreaming to see. It was a fun day filled with permethrin soaked clothes, old power generating devices, waterfalls, and a pup named Yeti. We did a loop and it was about 4 miles total. Wayne asks folks to sign a waiver and a $10 donation to hike. Way worth it in my mind.

Wayne Jones owns the place. The birding situation out there is A+ too. Send Wayne a text and he’ll give you more details. He asks for people to be respectful and no dogs as he has a big one the roams the land and is territorial over other dogs. Very friendly to humans. +1 (503) 780-7614
