Mt Adams Wilderness
Last summer I made the trek up the Shorthorn trail and was seduced by a small stream. Of course, I had to investigate further. I ended up taking the stream up to beyond the RTMT. Found some goat hair along the way.
Re: Mt Adams Wilderness
Pretty little falls. Were these between the Shorthorn and Round the Mountain, or above the latter (or both)?

Absolutely beautiful photos. Nice to see some summer colors on the board at this time of year.
I can't get a good sense of scale - about how big were the falls?

I scooted off the trail here (46.1563168, -121.5145692) and went up. Very swampy at times. No drop was more the 25 feet. Once I made it to the RTM Trail I looked up and saw more so I kept going. Much of the larger falls were above the trail.

Thanks for the info! How cool. I really appreciate your reports. These look like some really fun off-trail adventures
