Waespe Falls

Post by Nwcanyoning » November 5th, 2022, 7:21 pm

Took a trip up to Waespe Falls today. I had gone about 6 years ago and have always meant to go back and get closer. Today I did. I went up creek right to avoid most of the thorny stuff. I thought I would be able to do a quick scramble up the barrier falls but that didn’t go. I ended up wrapping way right via the bottom of the cliff and used a gully to make it to the side sub ridge. I thought I’d be able to get closer but once on the ridge I saw no actual way as there were 2 side channels that were fully exposed and very loose soil.

Probably true but I’m not much for the pumpkin beers. At least the west coast varieties… I used to enjoy Southern Tier’s Pumpking.
