Cape Blanco Hike in sad state, mostly nonexistent

Post by sfhipchick » September 26th, 2021, 1:21 pm

The southern trail along the crest of the hill is hit and miss. The northern trail above the beach is almost gone from the start and quickly evaporates. A shame. These trails would be fabulous if they got some TLC but we ended up abandoning the fight and used other trails and the beach itself to enjoy the park's awesome beauty.

It would be really nice to alert visitors that the cool trail and write-up provided for Cape Blanco is no longer accessible.

Thanks. I'll put in a warning.

Sfhipchick, our Bobcat is so enthusiastic to scamper off and revise the Field Guide, you didn't get the customary warm welcome. We're glad you joined! :D
