i took a very short trip to the lower falls on ruckel creek on saturday. we got back before nine am... left at about 5:20... i wanted to go downstream but i needed to be back home and didnt know how long i would take going downstream from the falls.
anyways, here is some of the snapshots one of the people i went with got:
starting the descent into the canyon:

over halfway down you cross this downed log. it was my way to remember where to start ascending.
