What Kelly says sounds right. :-) I've been on some of those roads, although not to the quarry.

K Wagner. Thanks for the info for North Augspurger. Last Friday we drove the road you described. Directions were spot on even if we took a wrong turn. We started at Berge, drove by Larson Lakes and took the Little Rock Creek Road out to Mill A. We had a small car and we had no problems. Some of the frozen pools of water were a bit sketchy but we got through them ok.

Van Marmot. You should drive in there because there is easy access to CCT. We might have driven over part of the trail on the Lava field Kelly described. We didn't get out of the car because the wind was howling. Frost on the trees was spectacular. I don't know how to post a map. If Guy or Don reads this maybe they can post the map.
