Eagle Creek Canyon Downstream from Metlako?

There's a stretch of canyon in Eagle Creek (in the gorge) just below Metlako Falls that's accessible by a rugged off-trail route. I've seen it discussed here, but couldn't find it in the forums. If anyone can post links or trip reports, I'd appreciate it.

I thought about this yesterday while hiking the main trail. Lots of flowers, the falls are roaring, and for the first time out of countless hikes there, I saw deer. But a little variety would be nice. Thanks!

Went up there years back. Don't remember anything too stunning. I was going to take it up to Benson, but had to turn back, if that's the canyon/creek you mean.
