Yes, I don't think you can see all the way to Stuart from there. Those peaks are southeast of Rainier - Goat Rocks.

Your peaks to the right of Rainier looks like Mt. Stuart, west of Leavenworth near the Enchantments. Alpine Lakes Wilderness.

Yup, a native hazelnut, Corylus cornuta. Probably.

Thanks for the information Bobcat! Such a cool area, nice to see it's open for camping. It's a long drive, but with overnight stay it should be worth the trip. SDS/SLC/Broughton are cool too.
