Yes I agree with Chip, we should close more gravel roads to cars during peak season and let the bikes have them.

I can't see how anyone would think that dozens of bikes going down a road built for large trucks to extract timber from the forests would be any kind of problem. The irony of anyone thinking that biking down logging roads is a problem when the OP was driving a gas powered vehicle down this same road...

I can attest that having a GPS is no solution. I was doing a school project comparing 8 different GPS unit accuracy/precision and while carrying this board around on my shoulder, I needed a paper map to make sure I was on the right trails :D

I don't get why appointments seem to be concentrated in certain cities. When I looked at Kaiser, I could pretty much have my pick of appointment times... if I went to Longview. Anywhere else, nothing. I don't even know if I can get a shot in WA as an Oregon resident, even within the Kaiser system. ...

If you want to go to Salem (maybe Woodburn or Monmouth), appointments have been mostly easy to get. They add appointments M,W,F sometime after noon. There are appointments available right now.
