I like your narratives, it leaves a lot to the imagination!

But, if you want to post pictures, you have to resize them to be less than 1 MB or link from a 3rd-party photo hosting site, use the Img button.

Re: Sleep System with Twins

Well, I've read the post and can't comment because I just started backpacking last year with my oldest when she was 8. ;) Prior to that we've just stuck with car camping / cabin camping with our two kids. Taking 19 month old twins is serious dedication!  I can't imagine carrying diapers...

Here's a teaser: http://www.siskiyoumountainclub.org/wilderness/kalmiopsis/tkr-description/ There's also the Wild Rogue Loop / Rogue River Trail... hot, but fun potential for swimming breaks! http://www.siskiyoumountainclub.org/wil...

Great report! You've officially joined the ranks of the loonies (search the archives of trip reports if you don't know what I mean) :D Sounds like all the best features are on the northern half, huh? I'll have to bookmark this as a good late spring backpack option. Oh, any bugs?

Big EG, but Table Rock shows no snow in the NOAA NOHRSC snow model.

No idea on the water situation, you might have to pack it in, which would add a lot of weight.

Yep, SW Oregon sure would be different than a drizzly Alaskan rainforest! Wear sunscreen and hike early if you choose any of my suggestions! And VanMarmot, your suggestions are probably even better than mine :)
