I hiked it back in 2011. I had not heard about the fire. I'd say "that's too bad," but since it's the dry side, and probably needed to burn, I guess it's okay.

When did you do the Lower Wenaha? I thought it was completely burned out now from Troy up for a ways.

Thanks. This is good for my list of spring hikes. I've been eyeing the Lower Wenaha but it is a long way from Portland, and the road there goes up in the mountains some so can have snow.
