Re: Broken Top's Hidden Crater Lake - 2013/08/28

Re: What is this?

Good one Chase, and thanks for the shout-out Peder. Chase, I dunno what that contraption is. Those coast folks were always up to some new tricks I guess. Could it be WWII??

Re: Perdition Trail by "Anonymouse" (October '06)

Funny this...I just "walked" the trail from west to east on last Weds. All's well....seems some "helpers" have been shining up the trail signs, and I noticed a new-to-me gravestone to a pet named Mitzie.

Lately I've had Airway Beacons on my radar. Any experts out there?? I don't have time to dig-out and post my files here right now, but I thought I'd start a thread and see if anyone is as interested as myself, and possibly way more interested. The sites I've seen thus far (I Think) are Cape Horn, Be...

Lassie on Mt Hood episodes from 1966

Before Lassie came down to the Gorge to film three episodes in the summer of 1966, including the famed "Lassie on the log flume" episode.....Lassie spent some time up at Mt Hood filming a "thrilling" double episode on the snows of Palmer Glacier above Timberline Lodge. In this riveting double episod...

Trout Lake Ice cave

FYI, there's still nice ice formations in the cave...and you can now drive all the way to the cave entrance. No pics, sorry...just a "head's up" for folks who may be interested.
