Re: Has anyone seen Camp Blossom?

That was known as the Timberline Cabin and it was built at Camp Blossom in 1916. It was primarily used by skiers and climbers. According to this book the cabin was "about one-half mile west of Timberline Lodge in an area near current ski runs." That makes sense because when you hike the Timberline T...

Re: Loading images

Cute cats, everyone! :D

You can sometimes find an archived version (including images) through the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine. In this case that TR you linked to is not in there, but it's always worth checking. Sometimes you'll get lucky.

Re: Eagle Creek Trail

Ditto for Oneonta, which I assume is also high priority (but I don't think they've started working on yet). Do you mean Oneonta Gorge? I assumed the Forest Service would use the fire as an excuse to keep it closed indefinitely. That place was such an unsafe madhouse pre-fire. I'm sure that little c...

Re: 2019 Meet n Deet?

The Meet n Deet hasn't been held in several years. Attendance was getting pretty low for the last few gatherings.

TKO has held a holiday get-together for the past few years. I think they're doing one on December 8, but it's not on their website, so I'm not positive.

You probably received that message because you are a volunteer moderator on this TKO-run forum. I would recommend clicking unsubscribe and moving on. I have forwarded this thread to TKO to make them aware of your concerns.

Cool, thanks for the bark guide, John! How did you get so knowledgeable about trees, anyway? Just a hobby? :)
