I did part of the Kettle Crest trail in mid summer a couple of years ago. Great trail, well maintained. The unusual thing is that you'll find springs complete with plastic plumbing fixtures along the way, and that's your water source. It was very quiet, I saw no other hikers, but there were lots of ...
