Eagle Creek Trail
Does anyone know an about (updated) time (year) when TKO/ USFS plans to reopen the Eagle Creek Trail?
Ever since the 2017 fire, I've had a very hard time finding a trail that is even close to the Eagle Creek in distance, elevation, and totally awesome waterfalls. Thanks!

Hidden Falls Nature Park & Waterfall

Besides taking awesome pics, you are always able to locate the neatest things, be it birds, animals, wildflowers, waterfalls, and on and on the list goes. We're gonna have to call you Sherpa Gene!

Re: CalTopo Offline
Thanks Karl! Thanks for the info. It sounds like you know the caltopo owner, so it will probably be up and running in no time. The Apache Tomcat I was referring to was a US Navy Tomcat Fighter Squadron Op during Viet Nam at Hamburger Hill.

Caltopo.com is no longer in service. A few days ago to currently, a DOS PROMPT screen appears with the words Apache Tomcat all over it. Apache Tomcat is a military term. Has the site been taken over by the U.S. Government? I loved that online topo map. It showed a lot of features, especially trails....

Cheryl, those are some very awesome photos!!! What type of camera are you using? Have you ever considered opening up a gallery? And what about your book on Fire Lookouts. When is your publishing date?
