Re: Yet another flower question

Weird, I've never seen anything like that. The only thing that comes close is hardhack (Douglas' spirea), but it has much denser inflorescences. I guess it could be a mutant hardhack with loose clusters? At least the leaves match. Well that makes me feel better for not being able to come up with an...

Yet another flower question

Here's one from July 26, 2017 near Little Castle Lake in the Castle Crag Wilderness. I can seem to find anything on the wildflower sites that looks like it to me.

Help with a flower

I was going back through some older photos and can't seem to ID this flower from Lower Table Rock taken on 6/9/2017. Any thoughts?

The first is a paintbrush, but you probably knew that already. :) Maybe Cusick's? http://science.halleyhosting.com/nature ... sickii.htm
Thanks, I was having a hard time placing which paintbrush but there are a few photos in the link that match perfectly.

Seen at Zumwalt Prairie

Can anyone help me with these two? Saw quite a bit of each on Memorial Day Weekend at Zumwalt Prairie.

Help with a bird ID

Can anyone tell me what this little guy is? Spotted it along the Wapato Greenway on Sauvie Island 5/11. It's a bit blurry as it was hopping all over the trail but the size seemed a little smaller than a sparrow. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/32885510207_a111aaceb6_z.jpg https://live.staticflic...

Well, my first thought is definitely a ghost.

After that, I'd say maybe a spider web.
I wondered about a spider, maybe an artistic one.

What is on this leaf?

Was looking at some photos from the Tamanous Trail and spotted this white thing on the leaf to the right. It almost looks like a moth outline but maybe that is just an illusion (or a moth ghost? ) Anyone able to tell me what I'm seeing here? https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/47727394562_6a59...
