Oregon Hikers

I was nearby on the Hidden Lake Trail on that same day and I had to use my microspikes as well. It was icy. Little ZigZag Falls trail was a sheet of ice... and it did have some interesting icicles.

How was the drive to the trailhead?

549 miles; 94,000 eg. Lower than normal due to injury - I lost 6 weeks of hiking due to a sprained ankle (not hiking related).

Thanks for the snow level intel. I was just thinking of doing this hike later this week. Guess I will find another, since I am not a big fan of the snow.

Within the boundaries of a National Wilderness Area:
1. Is is allowable to set up a tent at a trailhead?
2. Is it allowable to sleep in your car at a trailhead?
