Re: How do you make coffee at home?
You can fake an espresso in an Aeropress by grinding extra fine and then putting filters both below and above the grounds, tamping it with something, and filling your water to the 2 rather than the 4. Less water + finer grind + more pressure needed to force water through it = "espresso."

Re: USFS oppression marches on with proposed high-Hood permit
Key word, traditionally . I don’t care for so called tradition, if something can be improved, then throw out tradition. Appealing to tradition is not a good argument either... I think you misunderstood - I was using "traditionally" as a turn of phrase, like "historically." Your quote conveniently s...

Re: USFS oppression marches on with proposed high-Hood permit
since using the new Central Cascades permit system, I love it... Traditionally, "I want to be able to show up late and have a space waiting for me" is not how things work. Nice little sightseeing tour out there, guys. Bummer to see the boy scout cabin in such derelict shape, I'm guessing it won't be upright for much longer. Here it was in December 2018:

Re: Palmer Mill Road Side Paths
There's lots of random stuff on the slopes of Larch. I apparently went up your "H" route in snow in 2019 (side note Arlo, I think you went on your first snowshoe trip up there the day after I did?) - it was brushy and not fun.

Re: Autumn in Yosemite: NoYo YOLO Yoyo
Neat report, Robin. I've never been to to that part of Yosemite. Lucky to miss the blizzard in the lower elevations!
So if that was 2 years ago, will we be seeing more blasts from the past from you?
