Oregon Hikers

Great timing! I wimped out and hiked Silver Falls Saturday, as the forecast warned of wind on Mt Hood. If I had not been sandblasted in Mt Margaret Backcountry two weeks ago, I would have ignored the projected wind speeds... Preparation for hikes is sometimes overrated!

It looks like old age won over altitude! The great news is that the oldest person to have summited Mt Everest was 80 years old, so you still have plenty of time to have lots of fun outdoors! Great TR!

I just missed the rope in the rain, I was there shortly after you and Guy (as I recall). It is a fun area... I have not been back on the west side of the creek since.
