What is the chance that snow will be in the Salmon Mountains at the end of June? I realize that is hard to predict as we don't know the weather between now and then.

I am wanting to hike the PCT from Mount Theisen to Elk Lake and then jump up to Timberline Lodge to BOG. How is it looking for those areas to be snow free? By Mid July, maybe? Mosquitos are not so bad in August though, right?

I understand the mosquitoes are horrible Fish Lake and for the next 200 miles going North. Is that pretty accurate? What time of the summer are they the worst?

So I have plans to start in Ashland June 23rd and start heading North on the PCT until Cascade Locks. my plan is to do the whole thing in 3 weeks or so. Is it safe to say that there will still be considerable snow on the trail? I see the temperatures are pretty warm this week.
