Thank you for the report, a group from Vancouver has spent a few days brushing downhill from the 41 rd as a compliment to the fine work that Washington Trails Association has been doing starting at the Lewis river.

Gifford Pinchot National Forest is busy closing roads and is currently working on a way to manage campsites, they have requested input for which sites to "Keep open". While this is in the beginning stages the FS has already announced the "sustainable trails" project as well and I quote "This will b...

McCoy peak trail 259A was repaired in September of 2018. Eleven of us cleared the brush, rock, downed logs, repaired the trail tread, limbed the trees and signed the intersection. Furthermore the USFS is in the process of repairing the washouts on RD 29 for vehicle access to Rough trail TR 283.
