Lost: Black Diamond headlamp on Timberline Trail

Lost on 9/30 between mile 5.5 and Mile 21.5 (Pinnacle Trail). It snowed that night so it's probably buried if it hasn't melted. It was brand new :cry:

Your opinion on weekend weather for Timberline (from WI)

There are 11 of us flying in from Wisconsin Friday morning and planned to backpack the Timberline Trail Friday night through Sunday. The weather having done a complete 180, do we trust the forecast this many days out? We are thinking of alternate plans. From the looks of things, it's going to be wet...

It is just the road and the camps that are closed. The Timberline is open all the way around the mountain. The thing I'd be watching now is the weather! The system coming in starting today is supposed to bring considerable rain and possible accumulation of snow above 6500 feet. Thanks for the heads...

@walkin62 - So the trail near the Cloud Cap and Tilly Jane Campgrounds is closed or just the campsites? Or are they still letting people through? I've been watching the Forestry site and others and it was difficult to tell if they closed any of the trail #600. I leave with a group in two weeks to do...
