Re: The other Triple Falls... and more 4/20 & 4/21
Greetings! I recently visited Triple Falls via the North Little Santiam trail and employing some tree climbing skills from my youth to get to the river. Right now it's more of a Triple Trickle but I would like to find a better route to it while it's dry and then revisit when the falls are more showy...

Re: the falls on Woodward creek: Mowitch series + 1
I know your post is about seven years old but I'm hoping to get some information. I spent a good four hours this morning trying to find Woodward Creek. The instructions I found were to go up Kueffler Rd three miles from Highway 14 and look for a user trail that went about a mile or so to Woodward an...

Re: Creek between Tish Creek and Loowit Falls
Wow, that is amazing! Thanks for sharing. I may just have to venture up there and hope no bears are having a reunion.

Great, thank you. I've heard of Black Bear but didn't realize that was Fern Creek.

Creek between Tish Creek and Loowit Falls
I'm curious if anyone has (and I'm sure someone has) explored the creek between Tish Creek and Loowit Falls, the one flowing under the bridge right before High Bridge. I have a map that has a waterfall marked about 3/4 of a mile or more upstream, and I'm wondering if it's worth the bushwhack. I've g...

Re: Three Off Trail Hikes: McClellan, Sorenson, and Bridal V
Is it as steep a descent as I've read on other reports (as in, you need 400 feet of rope)? From your report, it sounds very doable with a bit of caution. I appreciate you consulting me on advice. This description left me intimidated about approaching the falls for a few years, but, as mentioned in ...

Re: Three Off Trail Hikes: McClellan, Sorenson, and Bridal V
Hi there. I started waterfall chasing last year and have enjoyed many hours (well, mostly enjoyed them) bushwhacking in the gorge. Upper Bridal Veil is on the schedule for this weekend. Is it as steep a descent as I've read on other reports (as in, you need 400 feet of rope)? From your report, it so...
