That lower section between Foxglove Way and Foxglove Trail was used to get around the wet area on the Wahkeena Trail and we did not need it after the water area was worked on a few years ago after the '91 Fire. What, no snow on the ground. Last time there in early February there was over 2 feet at the top and none at Phantom Ranch.
