Re: Road to Marble Pass TH in Elkhorns
My wife and myself just did a backpacking trip in the Elkhorns a couple of weeks ago and started from Marble Mt pass. We have a 2014 Subaru Outback and it made it fine. We came up from the Sumpter and down the Baker side. The road coming from the Sumpter side is in way better shape. Steep with some ...

It didn't even cross my mind that that TH would need a CC permit. I've hiked this trail so ma...

Trial is mostly clear with just a couple of easy to get over blowdowns up to 5300ft where the snow s...

2021 was a very good year for spending lots of time in the woods. Looking forward to an even better 2022.

Re: Aldrich Butte/Table Mountain access update?
The sign is on Shelly Lane before the split with the powerline road. Shown below in the pic.Which road is the "Private Road" sign on? Shelly Lane (which bends southwest), or the track that goes northwest into the power line cut?

Re: Aldrich Butte/Table Mountain access update?
I've started from the pullout on Cascade Dr about an 1/8 mile from the private road sign a few times over the last couple of years. Then walked past the sign and up the road towards carpenter lake and Aldrich Butte. From what I remember the sign is more directed at vehicle use and not a pedestrian. ...
