Driving Directions

From downtown Portland:

Drive south on Naito Parkway, keeping right to stay on Naito, which becomes Pacific Avenue (Highway 99W).

About 0.9 miles south of the Hawthorn Bridge, you'll be staying right to drive around a cloverleaf to join Highway 26 before it crosses the Ross Island Bridge.

Before crossing the Willamette River, exit to the right for SW Macadam Avenue and go 0.1 miles.

Make a left on SW Gibbs Street and go one block.

Turn right onto SW Hood Avenue, and keep right to stay on Hood for 0.5 miles, crossing under I-5.

Merge with Macadam Avenue (Highway 43), and drive south for 1.1 miles.

Turn left onto Nebraska Street and proceed for one block.

Turn right onto Beaver Avenue, which becomes Idaho Street and go 0.1 miles before turning left into the large parking area at Willamette Park.

Alternatives to Driving

Tri-met Bus #35 and Tri-met Bus #36 run along Macadam Avenue.

  • Park hours: 5:00 a.m. - midnight
  • Dogs on leash
  • Picnic tables, restrooms, children's play area, boat launch
  • Parking fees:
    • Summer: 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM - Hourly rate for vehicles without trailers is $1/hour up to 5 hours after which the All Day Rate is charged. All Day Rate for vehicles without trailers - $10.
    • Non-Summer: 9:00 AM-3:00 PM weekdays; 9:00 AM-5:00 PM weekends - Hourly rate for vehicles without trailers is $1/hour up to 3 hours after which the All Day Rate is charged. All Day Rate for vehicles without trailers - $6
