Driving Directions

Take I-5 north to Exit 68. Head east on US 12.

You can either take Road 23 from Randle (which is all paved) or take Road 21 from Packwood (shorter, but gravel).

Randle is 48 miles from I-5. Turn right on Highway 131/Cispus Rd/FR 23 (signs may mention any of these names). Go 19 miles (paved).

At this point, FR 23 goes right, but we want to stay straight on FR 21. Go 13 miles (portions may be unpaved).

Turn right on 2160 (signs for Walupt Lake). Go 5 miles (paved). Keep going through the campground to the end of the road.

Road 21 is 62 miles from I-5. Turn right onto it.

Go 16 miles (fairly good gravel).

Turn left onto FR 2160 (signs for Walupt Lake). Go 5 miles (paved).

Keep going through the campground to the end of the road.
