Twin Lakes-Lower Twin Lake Trail Junction

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

The unmarked junction (bobcat)
Rusting sign near the junction (bobcat)

Description

This unmarked trail junction is is near an unnamed small lake. The spur trail to Lower (East) Twin Lake leads downhill from here through a boggy area that often can be overgrown. Deer trails may also confuse the track. You will know you are keeping to the right track if you come across a rusting Willamette National Forest sign on an Alaska yellow-cedar (For practical purposes, the Willamette N.F. administered this area before the wilderness designation; it is actually in the Mt. Hood N.F.).
