Driving Directions

Drive I-84 east to Exit 64 for Highway 35, White Salmon, and Government Camp.

After exiting, turn left for Bingen, White Salmon, and the Toll Bridge. Drive 1.1 miles, paying the toll at the Hood River Bridge, and cross to the Washington side of the Columbia.

Turn right on Washington Highway 14 E for Bingen and White Salmon, and drive 5.9 miles on Highway 14.

Then turn left onto Old Highway No. 8. Drive east on this highway for 1.9 miles, passing the main parking pullout for Catherine Creek, and park on the left side of the road below the green gate on FR 030 (Don't block the gate!). There are also pullouts on the south side of Highway 8 and a pullout for two cars about 30 yards west of the gate.

  • Dogs on leash
  • Obey all private property signs restricting access
  • $3.50 toll each way at Hood River Bridge
