Driving Directions

From Eugene:

Head east on Highway 126 from Eugene about 46 miles

In Mapleton, turn left onto Sweet Creek Road just before the bridge over the Siuslaw River.

Continue on Sweet Creek Road for 11.9 miles.

Turn left on Forest Road 939 (0.2 miles beyond the Sweet Creek Wagon Road Trailhead).

Continue on FR 939 for 0.5 miles. Trailhead parking is located where FR 939 crosses Sweet Creek.

From Florence:

Head west on Highway 126 from Florence about 15 miles

In Mapleton, turn right onto Sweet Creek Road just after crossing the bridge over the Siuslaw River.

Continue on Sweet Creek Road for 11.9 miles.

Turn left on Forest Road 939 (0.2 miles beyond the Sweet Creek Wagon Road Trailhead).

Continue on FR 939 for 0.5 miles. Trailhead parking is located where FR 939 crosses Sweet Creek.

Information

A short trail leads from this trailhead to a viewpoint of Beaver Creek Falls. The creek must be forded in order to continue along the Sweet Creek Trail. This can be challenging when water levels are high.
