Straight Creek Crossing

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Looking down on Straight Creek, Quartz Creek Trail (bobcat)

This crossing is almost always a ford except perhaps in late summer/early fall, when there may be dry patches of the creek bed exposed. There is a log jam upstream that may be used to cross the creek depending upon how the winter spates have rearranged the timer. Above this jam are the Straight Creek Falls. There's a good campsite on the other side of the creek.
