South Fork of Lost Creek Crossing

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

South Fork of Lost Creek on the Paradise Park Loop Trail (bobcat)

Paradise Park is one of the most beautiful alpine areas on Mount Hood. It's just above timberline. There is a large area of somewhat steeply sloping meadow filled with wildflowers.

The various branches of Lost Creek flow through Paradise Park. The South Fork has a slightly larger valley than the other branches, and a direct ascent up the South Fork takes you to Mississippi Head.
