Silver Lake

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Looking to Mt. St. Helens from Silver Lake (bobcat)

At 2,300 acres, shallow Silver Lake is the largest natural body of fresh water in southwest Washington. The lake fills a depression east of the Cowlitz River and south of the Toutle, with the North and South Forks of the Toutle coming together just east of the lake.

Silver Lake is a noted largemouth bass fishery.
