Sheepshead Rock

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

The top of Sheepshead Rock (Do you see a sheep?) (bobcat)

Sheepshead Rock is 1.3 miles along the Plaza Trail #783 from the Twin Springs Trailhead. As one of the prominences along the Salmon Mountain ridge, it offers views along the ridge to Mount Hood, Mount Adams and Mount Saint Helens as well as over the pristine South Fork of the Salmon River valley in the Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness. Rock gardens here display woolly sunflower, fine-tooth penstemon, Douglas' campion, broad-leaf stonecrop, and common paintbrush among other wildflowers.
