Rooster Rock Viewpoint

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Rooster Rock cabin site, Menagerie Wilderness (bobcat)
The rock formations in the Keith Creek drainage of the Menagerie Wilderness (cfm)

This viewpoint is the site of the staff cabin for the lookout that once perched atop Rooster Rock. There are views from here up the South Santiam valley. Cone Peak and Iron Mountain can be distinguished to the east. Over the ridges to the south, the snowy tops of North Sister and Middle Sister can be seen.
